Updated Design
This is just a quick post to ask you to check out the Found Photography homepage and see if you like my updated design. I added a little bit of animation and added links to some of my photo collections. If you have a photo blog and are curious about what is happening behind the scenes you should take a look at Slimbox. It is an Ajax slideshow/gallery that uses mootools. It took some work to get it to work with my Movable Type backend but I think the results were worth the effort.Posted by Adrian at November 29, 2007 8:23 PM

Looks good Adrian. I too have been delving into the joys of the Lightbox/Slimbox script. I think it would be good to add a note about using the keyboard arrow keys to navigate through the available images.
It's cool that you can totally alter your site's interface. I heavily customized the styles for my portfolio pages if you haven't checked that out yet.
It's great that you are taking advantage of AJAX so that the page doesn't have to be reloaded to view the images. However, you should look into improving how your site degrades when JavaScript is unavailable. Right now if JS is turned off your links to photos don't do anything and I can't see any of your photos. I know that JS is pretty much everywhere, but I think graceful degradation is a sign of good programming/user interface design. As usual, I might be investing a lot of time in designing for a scenario that almost never happens. :D
Looks great though. I always enjoy the photos and since I'm familiar with Lightbox, I love the simple interface. Nice work!
